Yvonne is a member of Ernst & Young’s National Operating Model Effectiveness (OME) practice based in Washington D.C. She has 30 years of corporate international tax experience working both in Europe and in the United States, the majority of which have been focused on Operating Model planning. Yvonne has extensive technical and hands-on experience working with global enterprises to align their global tax footprint with business transformation and IP management strategies as well as acquisition structuring and post-merger integration of operations. In this capacity she deals regularly with matters such as US CFC legislation, exit costs, permanent establishment, withholding taxes, legal entity structuring, repatriation planning and qualification for treaty benefits. She has successfully led, managed and implemented end- to- end and also component value chain strategies globally for US and non-US multinationals in the automotive, industrial manufacturing, consumer products, aerospace, chemicals, engineering and services sectors and is the Americas OME sector leader for Industrial Products and Consumer Products and Retail. In addition, Yvonne is a member of EY’s global TP/OME working group on the implications of the OECD projects including BEPS, as well as the Washington National Tax practice focused on the impact of US tax reform on intellectual property and operating models.
